Weekly Memorandum 6/14/2021
Stocks are split to start the week, with the Nasdaq up, while the Dow and S&P are lower. This speaks to the potential reversion of growth and tech-related names starting to outperform value again.
The dollar caught a nice bid last week, while precious metals were mixed, with gold up and silver down. Crypto rallied nicely as well.
Crude Oil broke to a new high, while other agricultural commodities retraced some of their gains. Bonds performed well last week too, which suggests that deflationary pressures could be creeping back into the picture for the summer.
